Awards Indices
Belonging to
one or more awards indices can be a very good way to get
public exposure for your awards program, as well as
tips and advice.
No two indices are exactly alike, so carefully check each index's
requirements before applying. This is not a complete
list, but includes many of the more well-know indices.
Awards-Rating
Indices (listed alphabetically)
Academy of
Fine Awards by EUTODA reviews the professionalism of
awards programs with special attention to graphics,
especially the award graphic. Site are rated from 1 to 6.
Award Sites!
is the oldest and most established index of web site
awards. A list of awards programs rated from 2.5 to 5.0+,
articles, resources and a private forum.
Eagle Award
Index is a newer index based in Germany. Rating levels from
1 to 5.
International
Web Award Rating Association is a newer index, rating
programs from 1.0 to 5.0+.
United Web
Site Award Givers is a reincarnation of the now-retired
United Award Givers program, with the goal of connecting
award seekers with award givers. Award sites are rated
from 1 to 6.
WebsAwards is
the second-oldest awards-rating index, now completely
revamped with a new site and criteria. Sites are rated on
a 1 to 5 scale.
General and
Independent Awards Indices (listed alphabetically)
Aussie Awards
is a respected listing of web awards, arranged by category. Webmasters must be from Australia.
Awards Awards
has a large listing of awards sites, plus a listing of the
Top 10 Most Awarded Sites.
Awards Hot
List was a selective list of quality awards, basing
admission on meeting certain standards of other indices
and organizations. They aren't adding programs anymore,
but still have a few resources for awards programs.
Quality
Independent Web Awards (QIWA) is a certification and
listing program only for independent awards programs
(programs not rated by award-rating indices).
Russian Award
Gallery lists awards programs written in Russian or able to
evaluate Russian-language sites.
Stargazer
Award Index is a newer index for award programs which meet
criteria for quality. Site is in English and German.
Swiss Award
Index lists awards in four separate categories: all
awards, Swiss awards, design awards and beautiful awards.

Website Awards
has a large listing of web awards (both Award Sites!-rated
and independent) in a useful worksheet format. This index
determines the very selective World's Top Awards. There
are numerous helpful articles, too.
