a free, downloadable accessibility checker for your web
site. This tool is a joint project of the University of
Toronto and the University of Wisconsin.
Bobby
WorldWide is a project originated by the Center for
Applied Special Technology (now operated by Watchfire)
to promote the building of web sites that are accessible
by people with disabilities.
Hermish is
another tool to check Web pages for accessibility, as
well as browser compatibility and other characteristics.

Tidy HTML is
a very useful tool for correcting faulty HTML code.
If you're frustrated because you can't find the error in
your code, this utility may be able to fix it for you.
Visicheck is
a resource designed to show you how your site appears to
someone who is color-blind, and how to correct any
problems. (Since I am color-blind, I can appreciate
this!)
Web
Accessibility Toolbar is an incredibly handy addition to
Internet Explorer for the awards webmaster. Besides helping you check
your own site for accessibility, it can help you
evaluate sites which apply for your award. And it's

XStandard is a
WYSIWYG web page editor which generates clean XHTML code
and uses CSS for formatting, separating formatting from
content. The Lite version is free.
